I left Twin Falls, Idaho Wednesday morning and headed for Bend, Oregon. I have a friend to see in Bend, a graduate of the school from the 90’s. David and his wife Linda had always made the effort to come back to New Mexico to see me.

This area is famous for its two waterfalls and the Snake River Canyon where Evel Knievel tried to jump across in a rocket-powered cycle. I had to look this one up, but people here seem quite proud of it.
