The Road was long and winding, the winds strong at times. Beautiful scenes, beautiful friends.  From Idaho, I made my way toward Bend, Oregon. I had never been to Bend. Wow. Nothing like I had expected! The Deschutes River pours through the city and people LOVE to raft, inner tube, float, even surf through it. David lives in Bend and is a grad of the massage school in Santa Fe from the 90’s. He and his wife Linda would come to New Mexico frequently to visit, and I wanted to see where they had lived for so long. It is quite beautiful with major volcanic mountains in the background. Skiing, rafting, and lots of live music. It was a lovely visit. 

This was one of my favorite images. The geese congregate on the river, and the people linked in their inner tubes do the same.  It seemed like a very fun place!
