Lumos Center is a nexus of healing arts and education professionals.
In this time of transformation and change, we support individuals and groups to evolve and live from their potential by facilitating growth through their own direct experience. What connects our team is a common dedication to listening and responding to a depth of being that we all can learn to access. From there, we each can express more authentically through Body, Heart, and Mind in the world, in alignment with who we came to be.
Our home base is in Taos, New Mexico, and our team members are located in various areas of the United States and Europe. We bring a diverse range of unique skills and life experience to serve different populations. We offer in person as well as online services depending on what is needed. We cover a wide range of modalities, from physical to spiritual. These include meditations, massage and craniosacral sessions, dance and movement classes, artistic expression, psychotherapy and spiritual counseling, life and professional coaching, subtle energy healing work – in person or at a distance, intuition trainings, and attunement to Nature.
Cathy Rae Black, M.A. Read Bio
Cathy began working with healing, massage, and meditation in 1980. She has worked with individuals and groups in Intuitive Massage and Intuitive Presence, including the Healing Quality of Touch and Subtle Body at the Santa Fe School of Massage in New Mexico. Intuitive Presence is the work that has evolved out of almost 42 years of meditation practice, private practice in Intuitive Massage and Healing, and 37 years of teaching experience. Her Intuitive Presence trainings, meditations, and retreats support people to incorporate an energetically and intuitively sensitive awareness in their lives and work.
Cathy is co-owner with her husband Keith Spear, of TaoSatva retreat center. She is a minister in the Unity of All Life and has studied Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy and Processwork. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Intuitive Healing and Facilitation from Lesley University in 2005. She currently focuses her practice and teaching on meditation groups, spiritual retreats, and classes for cultivating intuitive presence and subtle energy awareness. She and Keith live in Taos, NM on the banks of the magical Rio Pueblo.
